Welcome, this website was setup after watching Myron May’s videos.
It is strictly not-for-profit. You will never see ads on here.
Myron May was the lone gunman who on November 20th 2014 opened fire at Florida State University injuring three and prompting counterfire by the police which killed him. Here is an excerpt of his own words few days before (from his videos):
My deepest regret is that I did not make a more diligent effort of documenting my experiences as a targeted individual along the way; however, this document is my feeble attempt at recounting my experiences thus far. First off, to anyone that may read this document, take a brief moment to pray for my soul. What I am about to do I have deep regret for; however, I feel that my options are extremely limited. Because I am a targeted individual, everything has been taken away from me. I have literally been robbed of life through psychological, financial, and emotional hardship [..]
To be clear, this site does not intend to condone violence in any shape or form.
As the author, I’m going to stress the fact that it’s his innocent videos that inspired this website in the first place, rather than his violent actions. Nonetheless, i would argue that the website has nothing to do with christianity and/or religion (the author is actually an atheist), as it is instead the case with part of his video testimony.
The scope of this website is to bring awareness about Targeted Individuals and the reality these people face everyday, and also for myself to keep track of all the information i come across researching this matter and have it in one place.
This is why you will find many Youtube videos that are testimonies of the experience of being a TI.
The main page is about videos only (and links to interesting Youtube channels), mostly TIs’ testimonies.
the first 4 months I did share the link every two months in every TI facebook group that I was a member of (about 50)
the second 4 months I shared the link every month
the third 4 months I shared the link every two months
To buy sufficient web space and register a domain.
To complete the “under construction” pages.
To invest time and efforts to regularly share the link (without reaching the point of counterproductively spamming it) in non-TI contexts, both within facebook and especially outside (human rights advocacy organizations, mainstream websites and social networks that have nothing to do with TIs, news publishers). Note: this step did not take place yet, at least on my behalf, but I suspect someone is employing it (if you’re reading this, thank you).
To translate the Who Are Targeted Individuals? page in as many languages as possible.
None, except buying web space and registering the domain.
None yet, except renewing last year’s web space and domain.
After 21 months (November 2016) the number of unique visitors amounts to 8100.
After 24 months (February 2017) the number of unique visitors amounts to 9700.
– After February 2017
The website faced a technical issue during 2017 which caused it to go offline for about two years and a half, until February 2020 (on the eve of the pandemic outbreak by the way).
As the webmaster, I decided I won’t be updating the website as I used to because of lack of time. I will only be approving new comments and publishing possible translations of the few important pages, while I always thought it would be good to translate them being that the TI community is a so very multinational one.
I also thought of taking down some pages, that were supposed to be completed (the ones that show the notice “under construction”). However, I think I am going to leave them just the way they are.
During these years offline, I still kept paying the domain space which is why I was able to make the entire website public back again, and so I will in the future.
